Western Athletics Opens up Wallet

Western Athletics Department unveiled a new long term plan to provide funding for varsity teams that had been on the backburner of the Athletics budget. This $1.7 million dollar initiative looks promising for the 18 non-funded varsity teams on campus. Looks like Western Athletics is heading in a positive direction for the promotion of its top-tier athletes and teams on campus. Let's see what the new schoolyear bodes for our Mustang athletes - with this funding in tow, we can only hope that teams will find the necessary edge to compete at an even higher level than before.
